Pump Upgrade

Quality Assured was contracted to install new pumps to the Adrian Street Palmyra Waste Water Pumping Station (WWPS). The project involved removing the existing pumps and replacing them with Flygt NT3301 vertically mounted pumps along with work to replace the inlet and outlet valves, mild steel concrete lined (MSCL) pipe spools, 90 degree ‘ducks foot’ discharge elbow and hot dipped galvanized (HDG) pipe supports.

To ensure that the installation works ran smoothly, Quality Assured used 3D scanning techniques to produce accurate 3D models. This ensured that the manufactured pipe works were free from misalignments.
